There is huge excitement among the community and the students awaiting the opening of the Thitmira Secondary School on the 4th January 2022.
25 boys and 25 girls will start with a further 50 more students being admitted every year for the next 3 years to complete the intake of the school.
Two classrooms and two teachers’ houses have been built and desks and benches now installed in the classrooms.
The government of Malawi will provide the teachers but we have no funding for school equipment and materials.
We urgently need to fund raise for textbooks both for the teachers and pupils.
